Allgemein ist das Personal wahnsinnig lieb und hilfsbereit.|Auf unsere Frage, was man in Portland alles unternehmen kann, wurden wir gleich mit allen möglichen Infos, Broschüren und Insidertipps versorgt.|Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, mit ausreichend Stauraum und sehr sauber.|Parkplätze in der hoteleigenen Garage 34$ pro Nacht.

Das Westin Portland Harborview ist ein tolles und schickes Hotel, das alle Annehmlichkeiten bietet die man an ein Stadthotel stellt. Die Zimmer sind groß und komfortabel. Rund um das Hotel findet man Restaurants und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Eine echte Empfehlung.

My second time staying here and once again I was really pleased! I came for business a few months ago and when my partner wanted a quick birthday getaway I knew exactly where to book! Wonderful stay overall.
Yes it’s not the cheapest hotel in Portland but it’s probably the nicest regular hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Entrance and lobby are really modern but also comfortable and welcoming(also the fragrance they use is AMAZING). The location can be a bit sketchy at night but I feel very safe with the security within the hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean and service is pleasant and efficient. We planned on visiting the top floor restaurant but ended up enjoying our room more! Ended up getting some awesome takeout from some of the dozens of restaurants within three blocks. Room service for breakfast was not cheap but portions were generous and delicious! The shower had two shower heads and ample soap/shampoo! Beds were comfortable but I’ll probably bring my own pillow next time they were a bit too squishy for me. But let me tell you we stayed in that room until about 10 minutes before checkout just because it was so relaxing. Overall I had a wonderful stay with my partner and I will be staying here again!

I’ll start with the good. My husband is a Marriott titanium elite member so we have stayed at numerous hotels. We were given a very nice clean spacious room with a comfortable bed. The other couple we were traveling with had a smaller room, but it was clean and comfortable for them. ||Now for the negatives. The valet fee is steep at $44 and therefore, should provide high level service. When we pulled up in front of the Westin, three valets were in front & none of them offered to help with the luggage, nor were they very helpful to our friends, one of which has mobility issues. When we checked out, two different valets were in front, neither of which seemed to care less about helping the guests. Due to age of the hotel and its configuration, this hotel is not suitable for mobility challenged guests. Even with the restaurant reviews not being great, for ease of getting around, we decided to eat there for dinner, only to find out it was closed (even the front desk seemed unaware & it was listed as open on Google). We ended up at the Top of the East which was a pleasant experience with a pianist and good cocktails (the spicy margarita) but the menu is very limited to appetizer/snack foods. If the main restaurant is closed, they should at least offer a soup and salad option. Most of these issues could be easily fixed. ||We walked to the Portland Art Museum since it is right near the hotel. It’s unfortunate that there were a number of homeless people who looked strung out on one side of the park. That meant the mobility challenged person in our group had to walk a longer route to get to the museum since it did not feel safe to pass by the other side. Will stay somewhere else next time we’re in Portland.

We stayed here recently on a trip around Maine. We were originally staying at another hotel but left because the room had a bathroom down the hall and was so small that you couldn’t walk around bed to fridge/the hotel was a forty minute walk to downtown.

This place, on the other hand, was majestic. The room was beautiful, had amazing views, and was super comfortable (except the pillows were a little soft but I almost always have that problem). The building was also beautiful with lots of history and well located—easily walkable to downtown. Staff were also super helpful.

I’m docking one point because of extra charges, particularly the 50 dollar a day valet charge. Also, the valet situation made it really inconvenient to go down to the car to get anything—though the valets themselves were great. Also , no breakfast included of any kind of even a public coffee station.

Still, great place. I won’t be going back to Portland any time soon but if you are planning a trip and can afford it this place is a good option!

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, classy wedding experience. The Westin is such a unique venue! It's a great space and a great downtown location! You can't go wrong booking your wedding here.
