This all-indoor wedding venue will mean you need to be proficient in off camera lighting to make everything look natural. Gold is the color that ties every room together and looks so grand and scaled up. It definitely screams high-end.

Imagine spending MONTHS, years, planning your wedding, stressed out to make sure your wedding day is perfect then the day comes and it's ruined by the venues lack of maintenance and MAGGOTS fall from the ceiling onto your guest heads and plates?! The ONE day of my life that I will never get back ruined.. never thought I'd spend my wedding day crying of disappointment and embarrassment. My own guest were trying to fix the problem because they were not taking it serious, MY guest found the problem and my own guest EVEN called pest control to come fix it the issue. Plates were thrown away, my guest and my myself and my husband lost our appetite, the smell was horrendous and we had to scatter around to find a way for 200 people to fit on one side of the hall. And to top it off the owner and management is now ignoring me as if this scenario wasn't serious and horrible. I'll never have my wedding day back and it' was completely ruined because the venue did not meet health standards. Please do not book here, save yourself the heart break and disappointment and frustration and sickening scenario!! They act like they care about their guests until something bad happens, then they turn the cheek.

Lovely and elegant venue for a wedding. Big staircase with elevator available for those limited mobility. Large spaces with well-designed trim and detail-work that make great backdrops for photos.

Hubby and I went to Tank & Zena's reception here. It was a beautiful venue. Appetizers and dinner were delicious and they graciously accommodated us not wanting meat.

Dead RAT. MAGGOTS raining from the ceiling
COCKROACHES running around the stairs near the
restrooms. If these things sound appealing to you,
then look no further. This ballroom would be great
as a house of terror with these pests, but
unfortunately, these were all things that l, along
with all the guests, witnessed at a wedding over the
weekend. Ifyou are planning on a beautiful
wedding or any type of special occasion, DO NOT
BOOK HERE. Save yourself the embarrassment of
maggots falling on guests' heads while dinner is
being served. Absolutely do not consider this place
and we will never recommend this place to are
worst enemies.

Friday September 29th 2023 we had a wedding to attend at the ALEXANDRIA Ballroom in DTLA as a guest this place was a NIGHTMARE! When dinner time came around , MAGGOTS were dropping down from the Ceiling as guest were eating how embarrassing is that Due to a dead RAT from up above the smell in the ballroom was deadly imagine eating with that smell and maggots dropping down all over you and onto your food besides all that there were roaches in the bathroom ,Sickening !!! The Party of 200 guest had to stand up and gather on the other side of the room with a tight squeeze along with no tables. Throughout the whole party maggots still kept falling through , And can you believe management is acting like nothing happened and is avoiding the BRIDE & GROOM for a refund ! HOW RUDE IS THAT!
Please DONT BOOK HERE! This place is disgusting !!!!

This was not a good venue. No parking, building is outdated, they only provide chairs and tables, you must provide your own linen, grooms room has no bathroom, floors are creaky, the view from the top floor is not nice, must provide your own alcoholic beverages and must provide your own liquor license, you must install a dance floor if you want to dance. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! If only I could rate this with 0 stars.

Got married here on Sept 1 & it was the most perfect day of my life. The venue is absolutely stunning! Every ballroom is breathtaking, Jemma is amazing & so helpful. We had the ceremony & reception in the same room (room flip) The King Edward. It wasn't as hard as I expected. I recommend this venue if you want to bring your own vendors as well. Thank you Alexandria Ballrooms!!
