I was disappointed with the breakfast experience at this hotel. If you don’t wake up early, you risk missing out on a proper breakfast because they don’t seem to replenish the food items once they run out. By the time I arrived, most of the options were gone, and there was no effort to refill them. A breakfast service should be available for all guests, not just early risers. It’s frustrating to have to plan your morning around a lack of organization. I shared my complaints with management but it seems like this is the way the hotel operates because of the similar reviews that can be found in Google Reviews.

Honestly about 3.5 stars is right. Three stars is too low, four is too high.

Good location in Interquest marred by a ridiculous $10 per day parking fee (which with tax is $11) for what is surface parking facing the strip mall to the north, and offices to the south. Except for the nearby Hilton Garden Inn no other hotel in this area charges a parking fee so this is nothing more than a cash grab.

Breakfast was a hit or miss affair depending on the day and the staff member responsible. Oddly, and unlike any other SpringHill Suite I've stayed at, this hotel only offered make your own waffles on weekends. No obvious reason for this other than cost savings. Perhaps instead of paying a bartender for 5 hours a night with most of the time spent on his phone, watching TV, chatting with other staff members, and maybe serving the occasional drink; they could save that money and instead put it towards a better breakfast the vast majority of guests would enjoy.... just a thought. Given there plenty of places to get a drink within a short walk of this hotel, having an "in house" bar is clearly not a benefit most guests want as I never saw more than 1 or 2 people in the bar at any time.

Again, not a bad hotel but also not good enough for our party to want to return.

At check-in, the staff wasn't particularly friendly. They were strictly business—which is fine—I just expected them to be a bit more welcoming. When we turned the bed down, we noticed chocolate chunks that were smeared on the sheets. Either they didn't change the sheets from the last guest or the maid service was eating while they changed them and unnoticingly dropped crumbs as they made the bed. The rest of the evening was uneventful and the checkout staff was friendly. It wasn't until after we were gone that I got a notification of the $10 charge for parking. No one had mentioned this and I must have missed it during the reservation process. I understand paying for parking in prime areas where parking surrounding the hotel is also prime locations and parking is difficult to come by (such as downtown). This is a long way from necessitating paid parking. There are undeveloped lots next to the hotel, a plethora of stores, gas stations, and restaurants surrounding the hotel. I could have moved about 15 feet over and parked for free. Overall, this stay was not what I expect from a Marriott branded hotel.

Edit: I'm downgrading my stars for this facility yet again. Reason: I just discovered they double charge my credit card. Considering our stay was multi-days, that's a significant amount of money! Yes it can be refunded but it'll take 4-5 biz days so yeah there is some impact to me here! The person who took my phone call promised to call me back with update about the refund, but no one ever call me back!

Original review:...

While the overall stay was not bad, there are some issues that I wish were better, especially regarding how the room was maintained.

Cleanliness: our comforter turns out had a pretty gross dark brown dirty spot near where it would lay on my neck. Chocolate mess? I hope it's not what I think it is...

Room fixtures: when we first check in, we immediately discovered that the bathroom sink drain plug is not working, once it's closed, it won't open anymore.

Also one of the light bulb in the room was flickering. We ended up not using that light for the entire stay.

Upon checking in I was told my reservation made weeks in advance for a 2 Queen bed was unavailable. They told me all they had was a king room with a crappy pull out. I was traveling alone with 2 kids so less than ideal. I also called ahead of time asking the person at the front desk if they had EV charging and they stated no. Sure enough when I got here they had 4 charging stalls(how untrained can an employee be to not know they have EV charged!?!). They charge $10 for parking which is an absolute money grab. We're not downtown or close to anything important..there are plenty of parking spaces around. The road noise from our room was obnoxious as well. Overall not a good experience.

Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean and roomy, epically nice to have a closet to tuck the luggage in.

Breakfast staff was wonderful and helped us with allergy friendly items.

Front desk (Alexis) was both friendly and helpful. We had to order new luggage bc ours were destroyed in the airport and she helped facilitate the retrieval.

Also the location was convenient with lots of restaurants and store around. Also easy access to the highway.

If I could rate higher I would. This is a very nice hotel. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are dotted with trendy pieces and elaborate lights. Huge bathroom, a pool downstairs. I was very impressed that the bathroom could accommodate someone with a disability safely. Plenty of sturdy hand rails and even a seat. Near a lot of dining options within walking distance.

Good rooms, that are pretty clean.

The thing that sticks out the most with this location was the service. Exceptionally nice staff that go out of their way to make the stay better. I didn't catch his name unfortunately, but one staff member was fantastic and helped us.

The breakfast is standard for Marriotts.

The location is great, plenty of things to do in the area and lots within walking distance.

Finally, the in-room tvs are better than some other Marriotts.
