Ich habe dieses Hotel gebucht, weil dort eine Konferenz stattfand. Mit dem Mietwagen vom Flughafen IAH in 20-30 min. zu erreichen. Liegt an einer Schnellstrassenkreuzung, etwas schwierig zu finden.||Das Hotel selbst ist OK: Die Zimmer schön gross und geräumig. Ich war im Februar da, so dass es nicht zu warm war. Also nichts auszusetzen.||Im Sommer würde ich wahrscheinlich nicht hinfahren, weil die Klimageraäte keine SPlitgeräte sind, also wahrscheinlich in Betrieb viel Lärm machen werden. Und Houston ausserhalb des Winters ist wirklich heiss...

Ich war nur eine Nacht in Houston und habe mich für das Sheraton Brookhollow Hotel entschieden. Das Hotel liegt ca. 20 min. entfernt vom Airport (IAH) und ca. 10 min. vom Zentrum entfernt. Das Hotel wirkt nicht mehr allzu neu - ist aber auf jeden Fall sehr sauber und modern ausgestattet. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich - die Zimmer sind geräumig / Einrichtung ist o.k. Das Hotel verfügt natürlich auch über eine Bar - Gratis-WLAN wird hier angeboten - Gratis-Parkplätze stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung.||Für einen Kurzaufenthalt absolut geeignet.

I booked with this hotel extremely concerned after reading the reviews. The location was too perfect to pass up, the Sheraton Brookhollow is located .8 of a mile from my daughter's home.
Check in was easy, and efficient...they made me feel welcomed, they even let me check in a couple hours early! They furnished my room with the roll in cot and sizable refrigerator. Although the room is a bit dated, as is the hotel (I think then 'S' in Sheraton is cracked) This hotel has 'great bones' and apparently excellent management. Every aspect of my stay was above average service!
The only real caveat: the hot tub was cold. The pool was warm, but when I went down at 9pm to relax in the hot tub it was cold. Disappointing.
Another crucial area with room for improvement is the coffee break area. They set it up on this tiny table and there should be a container of milk and a container of cream. Put it on a bigger table. Refresh it often. A few times I came down at 8:15-8:30 and it was empty and the area was wrecked. Even after I let the front desk know about it, the lady just cleaned it up and put it away. On the weekends it's even worse, you have to go into the restaurant and make your coffee in there. Even in there, it's those BS creamer cups, and you have to crack open like 10 of those just to get your coffee mediocre. Please management, fix your coffee problem, because coffee is a big deal to practically every guest. There should also be an area describing the history of the hotel, it has an interesting back story, and it should be told.

Great location for where I needed to be. The exterior is more on the older side and so was the room, majority of the electrical outlets were not securely attached to the wall, charger kept falling out. The bed was clean and comfortable though. The lobby seemed fairly renovated and new. There are a good amount of tables and cubicles to eat or do work in on in the common area!
I requested a late check out and they graciously gave me an extended late check out. Thanks, greatly appreciate that!
Staff at the time of my stay were very nice and accommodating. Fitness center was very well equipped with weights and machines.
There is a restaurant and bar on site, upon checking in I got a voucher for up to $12 for Ella’s table ! Nice touch!
I left behind my AirPods, I do preface that I now have it back with me, but it took a long process to get them, lots of back and forth phone calls, eventually had to get corporate involved and then that’s what got the ball rolling.

I recommend this hotel only on location basis.

Stayed here as it was close to where I was doing business, upon arrival the staff was friendly and very courteous. The lobby was the only place that didn’t look dated, the sidewalk and entrance had cigarette butts on it and the outside did not look inviting, the hallways and rooms are very dated and in need of some serious cleaning, repairs and renovation. The hallways carpets are stained and dirty, the guest laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers and in disrepair, the front desk did not have quarters and had to ask the bartender in the restaurant and he was very accommodating, the rooms have old furniture, no mini fridge, beds are old but overall room was mostly comfortable. They have a restaurant and I ate there 3 times, meals were not bad and service was decent, they do have a parking garage, fitness center and a small gift shop with necessities etc. close to shopping and food. It is affordable but definitely not what most Marriott properties look like. I would stay here if it was the only option, or if they did some major updates and renovations.

The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. The aesthetic does not match the expectations of a modern Sheraton hotel. The bathroom is small and the doors get stuck and don’t close all the way. There’s no fridge or microwave in the rooms. There was a weird smell of feet and pine sol upon first walking in the room. Also the VIP experience could be better than just a lounge with complementary snacks and a microwave. The only thing good about this property is they’re the only hotel within the general area that has free parking. My husband and I are Marriott rewards members and we don’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a luxurious experience.

Currently staying here. Whole floor smells like weed. Called management, only said nothing they can do. Not an offer to change rooms, comp, nothing. For $350 for 2 nights, I’d expect more. Carpet/wallpaper could use replacing, beds were comfortable. None of the handicap rooms have more than 1 bed, so if you travel with more than 3, you can’t use a handicap room. Location appears good as it’s right off the highway.

I’ve stayed 106 nites at various Marriott hotels YTD.||I booked the hotel for convenience (close to my meetings) and the rate, which was very good. Reese, the front desk representative was super nice on checking in, let me know I’d been upgraded ?|The room was on the 10th floor (as requested) and was really old - as is the entire hotel. You can just tell it’s in need of a refurb. My main concern was the windows seem paper thin, so I was awoken by traffic noise at 4:55am (not ideal) ?. So I had a workout in the Gym, small but not bad for this type of property.||As with most Sheraton’s these days, it seems you get lucky with either a newly refurbished hotel, or like this one, the existing decor etc which no doubt looked great back in the 80’s. ||If you’re a heavy sleeper (I’m not) and can get a good rate, not a bad option for a short stay
