Eine klare Empfehlung für einen Zwischenstopp. Fairer Preis.

I carefully reviewed the mixed reviews when booking at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott. But we had a wonderful experience during our 2 day stay. The rooms, lobby, and elevators were recently updated and exceptionally clean. The workout room, pool areas, bar and dining areas were also clean and very welcoming. The check-in staff was attentive and helpful, although there was no assistance with bag handling at the front door. A solid 4-star hotel, located in a nice downtown area with easy access to shopping.

I stayed here for the weekend and I absolutely loved my experience! The room was so clean and the shower/ amenities in the room were top tier and luxurious. I stayed on the 6th floor with the perfect view of the pool, cabana and the skyline. It was the best views I’ve seen in a hotel. They had two glasses by the side of the bed if you wanted to drink wine with your boo for date night in the king room I had. The bed and pillows were amazing and I had the best sleep. I’ll definitely be back!

Where do I start? First I will say that I was here traveling for business with my company who had booked multiple rooms. We were here working over night shifts every night. Every day the hallway sounded like there was a loud cleaning party in the hall around 12 pm EVERY DAY! On my one day off a maintenance person was in the room next to me watching College football and SCREAMING at the television while I tried to get some much needed rest. I tried to get breakfast and was told my room “didn’t exist” when they did service my room they did not re stock any of the things I needed like cups for coffee, or new wash cloths. The “convenience” store is ridiculously over priced, charging up to 7 dollars for a small 6 pack of Advil and 16 dollars for a sandwich that the 7-11 should be ashamed of. I had a small barking dog on my floor. And, what I consider, ZERO consideration for my actual comfort and stay in this hotel. It seems a bit ridiculous that they were making as much money as they were from the company for which I work, for us to be treated as through we were second class citizens. Thanks for nothing Marriott.

I booked last minute on the app and upon arrival there was no one nor a single luggage cart available to help me with my bags. As I was traveling solo I brought each bag to the check in counter and explained I needed some assistance. NO ONE offered to assist me in any way. When I asked again about some help someone brought a luggage cart. I was given an upgraded room, but soon found out the M Club was closed from Friday afternoon thru Monday morning . At other Marriotts when the M club is closed a F&B credit is issued upon asking -- well this hotel offered NOTHING! The next morning (M Club still closed) I asked for made to order eggs and was told no. After a brief wait the manager was able to get the eggs. I tipped generously due to my outlandish request and when I spoke with the manager of the hotel he explained that made to order eggs was not complimentary-- I was not asking for anything for free, just eggs that didn't sit in a food trough for everyone to pick thru. That evening around 9 pm I got hungry and since the M club was still closed I asked the bar for a menu. The bar staff told me it would be at least one hour for food, so I elected to order thru Uber Eats. When it arrived the front desk would not let the delivery driver up to the room and called to let me know my food had arrived. She said nothing about me going to the front desk to pick it up. So after a while I called the uber driver asking about the delivery. He explained the front desk would not let him deliver to the room. When I went to pick up the pizza (now cold) I explained that I was unaware of the hotel policy and I was also unaware that I needed to come to the desk. This was the fourth time I have stayed at this particular Marriott, and the fourth time the service I received was far below the standard of other Marriott hotels. The hotel manager indicated the closure of the M club is on the web site and I pointed out it was NOT on the app and when using the app it was unlikely I would reference the web site. He then said I could have called the hotel to see what amenities would be offered -- this is also not something I do when selecting a hotel for the evening. I have been an Ambassador for several years now and felt it necessary to talk with the manager -- explaining that on my first visit I had booked a room and was for my room. I was told an Ambassador status guest was in that particular room and it would be a while before my room was ready. At 5:30 pm I still was waiting for a room so I wanted to cancel and book at a different hotel -- I then was given a room. The second time I was traveling for work and the service was better, the third time I had a reservation the hotel was hosting a 30 year high school reunion. The lobby was full of loud drunk people and I couldn't even hear the ladies at the front desk. Drunk guests were knocking over chairs and tables in the lobby and all the staff could say was quite time started at 10 pm, again this was a point stay for me and the amenities were unusable by guests not attending the reunion. Now my most recent was the last straw for me -- absolutely no compensation was offered for the M Club closure, the desk clerk kept telling me she understood (apparently people traveling solo don't need any luggage help and they don't get hungry) from Friday afternoon thru Monday morning. I asked for a manager on check out -- and unfortunately they are not available until 9 am. I left my number as I thought it was important to let the proper management know of the service I experienced, not just once but what appears to be the standrd level of service offered to me. I did not receive a call back so I called at 1 PM. The manager explained that this level of service is well within Marriotts standards and there was nothing he would do for me. I explained that I was disappointed and thought perhaps he would be interested in why a customer -- would care enough to personally let him know how his staff treats guests, not once, or twice but now four times. By the way there are plenty of Marriott properties in this area so if you are looking for a full service Marriott and it's on the weekend -- check the website or call the hotel for specifics -- but my recommendation is to pass on this hotel.

It was my second time staying at this hotel. As I approached the front desk for check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to see David, the front desk associate, who remembered my name from my previous stay. It truly made me feel valued as a guest.

David's exceptional customer service skills were evident as he went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Not only did he provide all the necessary information about the hotel amenities and services, but he also took the time to inquire about my preferences and needs during my stay.
The hotel amenities are very nice and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I will definitely be back.

I travel a fair amount for work and am a loyal Marriott customer. My recent experience in Palm Beach Gardens was very underwhelming and I will not stay at this location again.

I arrived close to 9pm after a long day, and the front desk wrote down the wrong room number on my key card. So I went upstairs and then had to come back down to get the correct room number. I was placed in a handicap room without being asked my preference and then the remote control in the room was broken. I requested a different room and was moved- the manager brought me a key to the floor, which was nice.

In the second room, the cover for the exhaust fan in the bathroom was hanging off the ceiling, and the inside was quite gross (dust, wires, etc). It took a good 5 minutes for the water in the shower to warm up. The drain in the shower wasn't draining, so I stood in 3 inches of water while cleaning up. Then I found a bug in the sink as I was brushing my teeth and when I grabbed a tissue on the sink counter I discovered that the entire box of tissues was soaking wet upon arrival.

As a full service Marriott, I would expect more. Even a complimentary bottle of water in the room or at check-in might have been nice. They say they have "renovated" but it's truly liptstick on a pig with some laminate floors and paint on the walls. I recommend against staying here if there are other options nearby - I certainly will next time I come through town.
