Staff is great! Shout out to Elvie in the Concierge Lounge for being such a great morning host! Always nice to have a warm, welcoming, touch (especially in the morning) when working on the road.|Front desk staff is very attentive. |Shoutout to Amy in the lounge. First and last time staying at this Marriott. We chose it because it had the best reviews in the area but I don’t exactly see why when the room we stayed in was dirty and seemed to not have been dusted for a while. My main issue with this hotel is the poor job housekeeping did on our room. Upon arrival and the cleaning our second night.

We were told it would be rectified with housekeeping but the cleaning on our second night was definitely half assed. Housekeeping didn’t: scrub the tub, replenish the coffee cups and tea bags, didn’t clean off the table of breakfast dishes we left (we literally came back to find them untouched, they didn’t even try to wipe around the stuff), change out sheets (I found crumbs in our bed from the night before), they didn’t vacuum the carpet (still crumbs on the floor from breakfast that morning).

So, beware if you do decide to stay here! Also, I’ll say the customer service was good although the night agent our first night (Matt) didn’t even offer us anything but an apology when we complained about the filth in our room. The second night agent (can’t recall his name but he was an Indian national) was much more sympathetic and offered us some points to make up for it. We appreciated that. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is worth the $20/person. Large variety and fresh.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. "The facilities and amenities were amazing – we loved the luxurious rooms . with delicious meals served".  I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting.

Wonderful clean hotel tucked away in a quiet area. Happy and pleasant staff and a great visit overall. And Elvie in the lounge was just an adorable sweet attentive lounge attendant. She really added the charm to our trip. We will absolutely be back.

Great experience. Recently renovated hotel. Ashlee at the front desk is awesome. Excellent customer service. I ate at the restaurant twice, and both times the food was solid. I had the salmon + quiniua salad. The lounge was closed during my stay.

Had a work conference. Nice hotel for business meetings. Food was good. The ice machine was not working on my floor. Called FD they said go to the 5th floor. It was not working Curtis from maintenance walked out and took me to the 4th floor where there was ice. He took the time to make sure I had what I needed. Would stay again.

Elvie, Ashlee, & Carrie make this hotel worth visiting. For some reason customer service has been struggling for the last few years. Not here, that is why I will stay here ever time I visit the Jacksonville area. Thanks again to these amazing people and thank you Marriott for hiring them.

Thank you for a great stay. Food was great.........good service...........great staff......clean rooms................showers were awesome..........really beautiful facility with tons of space. The lounge breakfast area was great
