When we pulled up I thought surely, we're lost. This building certainly cannot be it. We're here for the big pardee!
The building appeared new or well maintained but also looked sealed up like nothing ever happened, nothing was happening and there will be nothing happening.
We were approached by a door personal and when he drew back the drapes I was blown away!

The space is huge. Huge and immaculately kept. It didn't appear to be decorated for the specific event we were there for however, except for maybe a colour theme, you definitely won't need additional decorations. With their zen motif, special effects lightning and the efforts of Josie and her team it's already gorgeous.

The win (for me) is there's an art gallery upstairs adjacent to the DJ booth. Absolutely calming even while everyone was booging to the sounds of DJ *The Nubian Experience* downstairs.
There was also a wonderful live band. So sorry I didn't get their name but they did not miss a beat. Literally haha. Sak pase!?

Their extremely cute rustic styled bathrooms upstairs and downstairs lends a serene vibe.

Catering was provided by Savvy Bistro Restaurant and the food and desserts were amazing!

If you're looking for an event space in Brooklyn, I highly recommend you give Josie a ring. You will not be disappointed!

I had a fabulous sweet 16 for my daughter at Kai Studios. The staff was extremely helpful, the venue was so clean and perfect in every way. It was absolutely spectacular. All of my guests were very impressed and also comfortable as they had their own space to lounge and party!! Thanks again to the staff and owners at kai studios for helping this event be an unforgettable experience.

Josie and her staff was nothing short of AMAZING. Josie jumped right in as the MC and did an amazing job with her outgrowing personality. Josie has a great sense of humor and really knows how to engage the crowd. The whole staff takes pride in their work and it shows. The floor manager was absolutely amazing and kind. I have to admit I'm so glad we decided to take a different route from the traditional wedding venues and was able to celebrate out vow renewal with KAI Studio.

A very elegant And Pleasant atmosphere. The décor was very Exquisite And most of all the staff was extremely professional. I highly recommend this place if you want to do and very upscale event.

This venue, owner and staff are worth every penny. I started planning my daughter’s sweet 16 a year in advanced, researching/viewing nearly 40 venues in Brooklyn/Queens and Kai was hands down best choice. The size of the space, three bathrooms, huge kitchen for catering to be most efficient, fully stocked bar...the lighting and upgrade options were phenomenal. My daughter picked this venue without hesitation. I’d never thrown such a large event so I was worried and full of questions. The owner answered every question during the tour and via email after tour. Once I paid a deposit to secure the venue for my event date, becoming an official client, I still emailed and called often with new questions - - - I was always met with a quick, helpful replies and never once did I feel like I was being a pest (trust me I asked ALOT of questions). During my event the staff managed my vendors and made sure everything went according to plan. I was able to truly enjoy the event. My guests were raving about the venue and staff for weeks after my event. Not only do I recommend but I hope to work with Kai Studio Brooklyn AGAIN!

Worked with Josie and team on an event in Dec. 2022 and they were a delight to work with and were incredibly accommodating. It's a very cool and industrial style space - with plenty of room for a dance floor, DJ, etc. Easy communication and flow and great flexibility. I'll be back.
