I enjoyed my stay. This is my first time staying in a Hotel Indigo and was very impressed by all elements. The room was large, comfortable, bright, super clean and relaxing. The only downside was a lot of noise coming from the other rooms during my second night but that’s not the hotel’s fault. The customer service was excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. I did have a bad and unfortunate experience at the restaurant connected to this hotel called the Ambler which I recounted in a separate review. Finally, you cannot beat the location as it is right next to Union Station and downtown Denver. It’s close to many eateries and sites. I will look to stay at another Hotel Indigo in the future.

My review is more about the newly opened hotel restaurant-Amber. John has an excellent knowledge of the area and d was great to chat with. Gave us two recommendations for local close breweries, both were fun to hang out for a while to unwind in a nest section of town. The food was good, steak on salad was tender, sweet greens was amazing but the artichoke dip was a bit on the lemony side. Old fashion and a margarita were good. Nice place to unwind after a long day of travel.

Hotel was clean and spacious. Beds slept good

Booked our stay based on Indigo experience and location. We were warmly greeted by Oscar. He was very cordial and upbeat and gave us the rundown on the restaurant and breakfast. The room was compact but clean and comfortable. The next morning we went down to their breakfast cart. I believe the gentleman's name was Augustine but he was amazing. Simultaneously making custom coffee drinks, heating and serving breakfast sandwiches, running the register and all the while with a great attitude and smile. He was really a one man show. The stay was great and we would most definitely return.

Pro: hotel is clean, room was nice.||Excellent coffee service in the morning in the lobby. Free to guests and others can pay. Excellent high quality coffees and breakfast items. Our favorite of this hotel. |We had a nice meal when we arrived, in their attractive restaurant: the Ambler. Very nice server.||Con: no room service. |Loud air conditioning and heating in the room. |Had a hard time getting enough bottled water from the desk. We would’ve purchased it, but they had no still water in their tiny little shop. We drink a lot of water.|Did not like the elevator system at all. You need your room key for the elevator to run. I understand this is a security thing. However, it wasn’t dependable the way it should’ve been. Doors were closing too fast on people. The first time we got into the elevator, as a couple was leaving, they warned us to be careful of the elevator doors that close too fast. Who needs that aggravation? The very least they should do when you check in, you should be told that you need the key and have it ready when you get in the elevator. It causes a lot of frustration for people that have no idea what’s going on.|Unattractive lobby.|They have two sets of doors to the outside, the ones that we used to go to our taxi were heavy and made it very cumbersome to get out the door. This may not be an issue for very young people, but we’re not. And doesn’t everyone have an issue getting into hotel doors with luggage?
