Ein Holiday Inn Express nach Standard: Große Zimmer, sauber, nettes Personal, etwas altmodisch eingerichtet, aber sogar mit Bodendusche. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Fluß mit toller Aussicht. Frühstück wie stets gut. Das Internet war allerdings eine Katastrophe: Meist Totalausfall oder geringste Geschwindigkeit. In heutiger Zeit, in der man auf das Internet angewiesen ist, z.B. wegen Flug-online-checkin, ein No Go. Daher nur 3 Punkte.

Ein schönes, ruhiges Hotel mit bequemen Better und allem was man von eienm Holiday Inn erwartet. Als großes Extra liegt es direkt am Colorado und das ist wirklich der Hammer. Da der Ort Silt recht unbekannt ist hat man hier die günstige Alternative zum teurern Glenwood Springs. Auf meinem kommenden Touren komme ich garantiert wieder.

Etwas abseits der Strasse gelegenes Holiday Inn. Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, die Zimmer sauber und absolut zweckmässig. Freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption, gute Infrastruktur und eine wunderbare Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer.

Almost every IHG property is a 5 star property except this one is more like a 3.5. Nice room with great view of the river. Breakfast had everything you could want from cereal to biscuits and sausage gravy and my favorite, egg white vegetable omelette. Soft and firm pillow provided.
Here are the detractors for me:
1. Lobby area was about 80 degrees. Very uncomfortable.
2. Elevator made a very horrible and scary sound when stopping on 3.
3. Beautiful view from window but window was filthy.
4. Sink had huge crack all through it.
5. No place to plug in your laptop at the DESK because the coffee maker and the lamp was plugged in . Had to crawl under desk to switch plugs.

The room was clean and well lit. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. They have a pool and hot tub. They also have a great breakfast. Good location on the highway. River frontage in some of the rooms and balcony on the upper floors.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. The late night staff member I encountered was not only rude and dismissive but also seemed under the influence, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unsettling. I felt genuinely scared during my stay and would caution others to check in at your own risk.

Beautiful location. That's about all that can be said. The air on the second floor and rooms smelled like a dog kennel. Judging by the sound, the elevator seemed to have been out of service for a long time. Electrical outlets were loose, and the fence was rusted through. To top it all off, the receptionist asked if we wanted to stop smoking weed, even though no one in the group smokes at all. The hotel is extremely outdated. My advice: drive on quickly.
And the answer is always....we gonna renovate...next week, month, year. Why not a discount if its so outdated?
