Großes, sehr weitläufiges Convention Center mit beeindruckender Architektur. Viele Sitz- und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten außerhalb der Konferenzräume. Direkt am River Walk gelegen.

Loved the space, the cozy alcove where you could sit and work on your own or in groups. There were convenience stores in different spots as well as places to buy beverages and snacks. There were plenty of bathrooms, so lines were kept to a minimum or not at all.

It was also in a central location, so many historical places were in walking distance.

The artwork was excellent and placed appropriately throughout the arena! The natural lighting was very illuminating and kept the mood upbeat.

What a busy place! Lots of traffic everywhere near this place but it’s a great venue for a volleyball tournament. I wish they had more food vendors available when we came.

Went to the Big Texas Comic Con in October, space was huge and there were lots of vendors and celebs there. Went on a Sunday so it wasn't overly crowded and didn't have to wait too long to meet the actors I wanted to meet. Had a great experience, would attend another con here again for sure!

I recently attended a conference here and noticed a couple of things.

The room numbers can be a bit confusing.rooms 218 and 221 are in different wings of the building, so keep that in mind.

There’s also an outdoor area where you can take pictures of the tower, but be careful! Once you go out, you can’t get back in as the door only opens from the inside. Luckily, someone helped me!

Free water help a lot!

We came for the annual Women of Joy conference.

Lots of access to drinks and refreshments. Speakers were amazing and it was packed. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with supplies.

Was here for the AOA's annual
OMED convention in mid-September 2024. The convention hall was better than most. The food was quite good relatively speaking and comparing to other convention halls. (Most convention food is horrible). The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were better than other places I have been for conferences. It sits at the end of the Riverwalk and has three hotels within walking distance. The Grand Hyatt is the closest but it doesn't connect very well to the hall and would be better if there was a direct entrance. Additionally, there are two Marriotts. The Marriott riverwalk is the closer of the two and requires only crossing one street. The second Marriott is the Marriott Rivercenter. This property is a little bit bigger and actually has its own conference center attached. It is also connected to a large mall for shopping.
Typically most convention centers are freezing cold and I felt that the temperature was set very well for my liking. I had no issues.
Overall it was a decent hall. The area along the riverwalk attracts a lot of tourists and hence it also attracts homeless and some not-so-good riff raff at night. I didn't feel unsafe but definitely recommend that you stay aware of your surroundings.

This is the most gorgeous convention center on the inside that I've been to. Easy to follow the River Walk over which is clear with many signs. Impressive art work throughout and plenty of private spaces to find if you need to jump on an online meeting.
