If you’re trying to get a day pass to work here, stay away! Was told it’d take around 30 mins to get set up, since their billing department must receive a filled out PDF form from you then charge your card, and they have 7 different locations to handle. There’s no reception area for you to actually fill out the required form. I appreciate they were at least they’re upfront about this, hence another star

I’ve worked here for a year. It’s a very clean and well managed work space. Comfortable parking and so close to the subway, any way you travel! Karen, the manager, is super sharp and have resolved every issues we had.
The only downside I had is that it becomes very hot because of the sun and the windows are floor to ceiling... but that’s my office location, can’t speak for everyone. Sometimes people had business phone calls in the hallway, and I reminded them that we have a phone room for that, which is super useful! I used it for my meditation as well 😉

Great and affordable office space. Building is always clean and being taken care of. Building management is amazing, especially Karen at Prince street, who is awesome, love her!!! Karen does everything to make sure tenants are happy and comfortable in their space. She works with you when you have issues and she is always accessible. I recommend Green Desk- 147 Prince Street for your office space needs!!

I have had a great experience in the year that I’ve been at this location. From day one of my tour to the signing of my lease agreement the property manager was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. She always replies very quickly to all of my email inquiries and always strives to help me as best she can whenever I’ve needed assistance with a situation. Wether coming in to the building or leaving she will always greet you with a kind and caring hello and goodbye with a smile and I’ve always appreciated the respect I’ve received during my year of doing business there. With the level of service I’ve received so far I plan on maintaining my lease there for the foreseeable future.

I think it’s insane that their virtual office agreement/contract states that the company isn’t responsible for any lost/damage/stolen mail when that’s specifically what you’re hiring the company for. GreenDesk also restricts mail up to 11x17.

When I mentioned this to the representative, my email stated:

“Thank you for your prompt detailed response! I am interested in the first option for mail handling services only at $49/month. However, I have reviewed the contract and I believe section E and F are unreasonable in regards to the service. If I am hiring a company specifically for mail handling, it’s contradicting, for that company contract to state that the company isn’t responsible for any lost/damage/stolen mail. Furthermore, the company also states that it reserves the right to change the contract at anytime without written notice, which again seems extremely unreasonable, I would like to trust that what I sign is what both parties are bonded to and if GreenDesk decides to change the agreement at anytime after my contract is signed, I should receive written notice of these changes and reserve the right to end my contract if I don’t agree with the new changes.”

GreenDesk representative, Brittany M’s response was:

“Hi Aliyah,

The agreement needs to be signed as is. The virtual office plan is our most basic plan and we have kept it the same since 2008. If you would like to opt out of the contract, we just require a 30 day notice.”

That response seems very rude to me, it completely disregarded valid concerns regarding their contract. I thanked her for her time and left the conversation there.

147 Prince has been the home to my organization for the past 3 years. Karen and her team are so helpful, giving, kind and professional at all times. They are prompt with everything and we always get help when needed. They make the work experience so comfortable and less stressful. We couldn't ask for a better building manager and work space.

A friendly co-working spaces offering prices 1/3 those of the competition (WeWork). The offices here are well-equipped (tables, chairs, cabinets) and the same size as at other co-working offering. The common spaces are not huge, but they are tastefully furnished and a nice spot to hang out or do some work. The staff are also friendly and I always feel welcome. Overall, I'd recommend Greendesk for a co-working company and this location is convenient to both Brooklyn and Manhattan taking the subway.

My experience with Green desk at Prince Street has been great, the environment is friendly and accommodating. The staff are all amazing; but the shining star is building manager Karen. Very professional as well as personable, efficient and one of a kind. Keep it up!!
