This Fairfield was more than adequate for what we needed. We chose it due to its proximity to Disneyland and the walk was short and there are a few quick service restaurants you can easily walk over to. The rooms are small and dated so know that in advance and there are exterior doors like older style motels. But it met our needs for our trip and the staff was very nice

A fine hotel with a special shoutout to Brandon at the front desk, who made our arrival truly memorable with his exceptional help. He was outstanding. If St. Peter ever needs a day off, Brandon would make for an excellent replacement for St Peter at the gates of heaven.

A bow also to his manager, whose name I regrettably forget.

The hotel itself is clean, has a nice playful pool and good, responsive room service.

The hotel is a short walk from the entry. On the day we visited, the park was open from 8 to midnight. A truly sadistic quantity of hours, even for the happiest place on earth. The location allowed us to stroll back for an afternoon nap and get a rest.

The only dark side is parking, which is costly but I don’t think this is hotel specific. It’s Disney. You might want to buy a burner car and just leave it on the side of the road.

As noted, you can walk to the park.

Staff was very welcoming for check-in and check-out. Very helpful. Valet parking and self parking cost the same $27. The only problem was how dirty the restrooms were. Their was still hair from the previous people on the floor and the tub. Even the towls still had hairs. Other than that, it's a great walking distance to the park.

This Fairfield Anaheim Resort earns four stars for my stay. There were many positive experiences in this property.||Starting with the check in process - I did not opt for the mobile check in because I wanted to ask the front desk staff to make sure my room was not poolside. We were two adults traveling without children and didn't want to be bothered by the noise that could emanate from kids playing in the pool. We were accommodated beautifully with a room on the back side of the building in a corner. It was exactly what we needed. We also had assistance from a bellman with our luggage as he brought it to our room for us. A very pleasant conversationalist.||The condition of the room - The room was clean and housekeeping is provided every other day or upon request. We felt that every other day was sufficient as there were plenty of towels for us to use. Housekeeping was done twice while we were there and each time, the room was returned to check in status. Pillows fluffed, fresh beds, fresh towels and cleaned! The room includes a mini fridge and a safe. A microwave was available on a different floor. ||Valet Parking - There did not appear to be an overwhelming amount of space. There is a clerk at the entrance to the property that checks to make sure you have a reservation. They let us know that self parking was limited but valet service was available for no additional fee. The valets were personable and quick. We had our car retrieved a couple of times during the stay and the car was always ready by the time we made it to the lobby! We were able to self park a couple of times as well.||Access to washer and dryer - We appreciated the access to a washer and dryer. I believe there are units on each level of the building except for the lobby and second floor. The machines can be paid via app or a swipe of the credit card. It was convenient to have these machines for a lengthy stay.||Proximity to Disneyland - The main entry to Disneyland and California Adventure Park are about two blocks away. It's a quick and short walk to get to the security lines for the parks. Easy to run back and forth if you desire. There are also places to eat along the way so you really don't need to drive much if you are happy with the offerings. By the way, after a day at the park and a tired walk back, there are some nicely chilled pitchers of ice water waiting for patrons in the lobby area.||So, why didn't I give this property 5 stars?|There a few personal preferences that I have. I prefer indoor corridors in a hotel. These rooms all have direct access to the outside. I also like to take advantage of the continental breakfasts that are offered at many hotel properties. That being said, none of the hotels we visiting in California had that as an option. And, the bathroom was a little small. We stayed in a series of hotels in California on this trip and this was the smallest bathroom of them all. ||Overall, I do recommend this property if you are considering a trip to Disneyland.

This hotel’s customer experience and handicap policies are horrific. I was told by the Manager today 10/23/24, that as a handicap person, who has trouble walking, I am unable to use my scooter to my room for MY safety. Instead they would get a room as close the lobby but I would still need to walk to my room. They are not ADA compliant and only care about the electricity usage. I was able to do this in June of 2024 in the same hotel with no issue and no incidentals but now I was told no this time. I can’t imagine what families with handicap children would go through at this hotel. Absolutely deplorable! Manager was very rude. ||I cancelled my reservation and reserved a room 2 hotels down at Camelot Inn and Suites. They had no problem accommodating my request as they are ADA compliant. I travel often and recently hurt myself but I will NEVER stay at this hotel or in a Marriott again! I now know what people who disabilities have to go through.
