Incompetence overshadowed by apathy. I asked yesterday morning for something elementary and simple: fresh towels. After 24 hours, I still didn’t get fresh towels. So, I inquired this morning and was told when I returned from the gym they would be available at the front desk. Still, no towels at 7:45, but they promised me within 10 minutes. 8:30 AM and had to go to work, but still no towels. When I asked why they couldn’t accomplish a basic task in over 24 hours, they wouldn’t even look me in the eye, stared at the desk, and shrugged their shoulders. I understand the hotel is dated, as I’ve stayed there before and I find that endearing. However, DO YOUR JOB and DON’T lie to guests!!! If you don’t care, at least ACT like it!

I went to stay with a friend for a month and this place was infested with roaches. Couldn't get sleep at night because they were crawling all over the walls and ceiling. The roaches would crawl in the bed and felt them crawling on me. They would also come out in the daytime. You can't leave food or drinks out at anytime without having to watch out for roaches. They are in the bathrooms and crawl on your clothes in the closets. Not to mention I have killed a few bed bugs. Exterminator comes by monthly sprays in a few corners that's it . The furniture is outdated and roaches are in the drawers with droppings. It's like the movie Joe's Apartment ?!. I was embarrassed to invite anyone to visit due to roaches. So if you enjoy no sleep and tons of roaches this is the place to stay!

DUMP!! AVOID EVEN FOR JUST ONE NIGHT!! OVER PRICED RIP OFF!! PICTURES ARE OLD ROOMS LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE ONES ONLINE!!
Had to stay there for four years because of financial issues. At first it was okay nothing spectacular. In the past year (especially last 6 months) it’s gone downhill. Homeless people becoming more frequent. BUGS - roaches & bedbugs. I treated my room myself the entire time since their pest control people were a joke. Didn’t really have a problem. Then they do an “inspection” and start finding them. - or so they say they do.
So then I’m told I had to get rid of tons of stuff, can’t have canned goods out, can’t use their laundry, throw out my vacuum etc etc. PLUS tell me I have to pay $125 immediately then the higher weekly rate PLUS $40 more for them to treat it. Over the course of 6 weeks I paid almost $600 & they “treated” my room THREE TIMES. Basically sprayed Raid on the bed which ZI used to treat roaches. It did nothing for bed bugs. I paid for & used my own powder treatment which cleared them up.
And forget about the manager she’s lazy as hell. Won’t talk to you unless you go through front desk first and even then won’t do anything. Sends you back to front desk who barely can answer anything. I always paid my month rent on time, followed the rules& kept to myself never bothered anyone. Then they pull this crap all of a sudden.
The entire place just needs to be torn down. AVOID!!!! AVOID!! AVOID!!

I stayed there for 6 years. Loved to fish the river behind the Hotel,caught monster catfish! But,me and the manager clashed,many times. Such as a homeless man sleeping in front of my 3rd floor room,one winter morning. Then,canceling my mastercard bcus,they accidently,did not remove monet from it,after I paid my rent. Caused me to get a new card. I even told her they didn't take the money from my card. Then they canceled that card. Other than just being drunk all the time,it was nice,during the pandemic. But,no one wants to have just a sink to wash ur face in and then wash dishes in it. Life is better than that. The other manager,Sonia? She's a saint good woman.I was a very particular person myself. I washed my own linens,only wanted towels when they cleaned my room. Then,I found out myself,none of the vacuems they used had belts on them that worked!! None of them. I vacuumed my own room. Things like that,got me pissed...

Shady practice, refusing service to someone refusing to sign a document with another persons name on it.

I asked you to print another receipt with my name on it, but you'd rather refuse service...Strange.

Maybe if the cockroaches were each paying $1 for rent, I could see how you can afford to lose $600 monthly.

? It's okay only if you're desperate. Lots of roaches & bed bugs. When u complain about the bugs they blame u for bringing them in! Mold, old stinky carpet, old broken furniture, unlicensed security guards are nothing but bullies! Hotel is constantly raising their prices. The on-site bar is a joke...overpriced & non-bartenders that know nothing! The owner lives in California but when he does occasionally visit he stays plastered drunk in the bar the whole time & makes no improvements to the place. When I finally moved out I had to throw out 85% of my belongings cuz they were infested w/bedbugs!

I bought a room, went to see the room and discovered the room was filthy and the bathtub was not cleaned. When I went to address this issue to the front desk, they told that they could not do anything about it and also told me that I could not refund me for the room. All of this had happened in 8 minutes. I would recommend staying home than buying a room here.

The staff is lovely but the hotel is riddled with bugs and roaches
