Verglichen mit den anderen Lodges, Inns und Hotels in und um Columbus ist es die beste Alternative. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Bahnlinie die i.d.R. Nachts bedient wird. Das Restaurant lässt in Bezug auf Sauberkeit sehr zu wünschen übrig. Zum Frühstücken empfiehlt sich das direkt angeschlossene Starbucks Cafe oder außerhalb des Hotels. Der Service ist eher nach dem "help-yourself" Prinzip. Dafür stehen die Preise meistens im Verhältnis zur Leistung.

Everyone at the Columbus Marriott were friendly, helpful and attentive to my family needs. We were met at the front desk with a smile and received our keys within minutes. The room was spacious and extremely clean. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Looking forward to going back soon!

The rooms are not always as clean or stocked as they should be, but when they are, they are nice and spacious, relatively up to date. The bar area is nice and there is a gym with all that is needed for maintaining fitness. ||||Breakfast is your typical continental at Marriott. It would be nice if there were better hotel eggs in general, but this is expected at most hotel breakfasts. Bacon is very good. Evening appetizers and cookies are typically pretty good. They have snacks available in the lounge with coffee and tea available. ||||Christie in the dining area for the mornings is very kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Our family appreciates her warmth.

Very frustrated to arrive with my luggage and be told that I was not allowed to use a luggage cart. They said I could request a bellman, but I didn't have any cash on me and I refuse to use a tipped service without offering gratuity. Staff watched as I hauled in 2 coolers, a backpack, a duffel bag, a pair of shoes and a shirt for dinner.

I stay in Columbus 3-5 nights a month for work and I will have to stay elsewhere for future visits. At least the Hampton will let you use a cart.

Love this hotel and its staff! The historic vibe and southern hospitality is amazing! Love that they have a restaurant here and the staff gives recommendations of the area! Easy walk and access to not only downtown area but all areas of the city!

Service was good.

Room was okay the pillows are not comfortable to sleep on at all.

Wifi didn't work first night.

Has much to be desired. Flies going around stepping on food. Dirty plates, and at 9 o'clock they switch to a short menu. However they will deny you the full menu starting at 8:54pm.

Sunday buffet is 19.99

Food was okay

Parking is 15/day

Then the roads to get to the hotel feel like you're crossing thirty train tracks at once.

During a recent stay at this hotel I was charged $15 a day for parking without this additional fee being disclosed. I was traveling from out of state and did not have a vehicle. I called the hotel to resolve this when I noticed the charge when reconciling my bill. I was sent a credit card authorization form to fill out, however the form had very specific language to authorize charges and had nothing to do with the credits. I sent two emails regarding the form, called corporate Marriott and initiated a case, sent a follow up a week later via the app and have received no response from FOUR contacts. I still have not received credit or a response nearly a month later despite the time I’ve invested in getting this resolved.
