Idealer Ort für grosse Veranstaltungen. Service ist prima, Cafés und Restaurants im Gebäude, Hotels auf Laufabstand. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es leider nicht bzw sehr wenige. Beschilderung im Gebäude ist leider etwas dürftig - wenn dort mehrere Events zur gleichen Zeit stattfinden, kann man schon mal auf der falschen Expo oder Konferenz landen.

Nicest convention center I have ever seen. Just huge and so well kept. Our convention had 10 000+ and it didn't feel impossibly crowded. There was never a time we had to wait more than a few minutes for bathrooms.

The security was very tight. Wow do they do their job. If you didn't have the lanyard, you weren't entering. I saw them turn many away!

In between sessions when all 10 000 flooded the hallways, it still wasn't overwhelming.

The place is so clean. I don't know how they manage with so many through the place (and bathrooms) each day. Incredible cleaning staff. We used 4 rooms, each very different in use and size and it was the perfect accommodation.

We recently had the pleasure of working an event for SOHO at the George R. Brown Convention Center, and our experience was fantastic! The facility is top-notch, with spacious, clean, and well-maintained areas perfect for large-scale events. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our setup and breakdown process smooth and stress-free.

Loading in and out was a breeze with ideal conditions, and we especially appreciated the secure environment, allowing us to leave our equipment overnight without any concerns. Overall, the George R. Brown Convention Center is a world-class venue, and we look forward to working here again soon! Highly recommended!

We visited the George R. Brown Convention Center during Christmas and were amazed by the decorated Christmas tree showcase. The beautiful windowscape added to the festive atmosphere, making it a truly magical experience. Each tree was uniquely decorated and offered a stunning visual treat. The creativity and effort put into the display were impressive, making it a perfect holiday outing for families. Highly recommend visiting during the Christmas season!

Attended the NSPPD USA Prayer Conference at the George R. Brown Convention Center, and it was a fantastic experience! The space is well-designed, with excellent security and convenient access to all amenities. The bathrooms were easily accessible, and everything was well-organized. The only downside was the difficulty in finding Uber/Lyft rides after the event, especially at night. Wait times were longer than expected, and prices surged significantly. Overall, a great venue, but plan ahead for transportation after late events.

I didn't know that the ambiance of a meticulously maintained landlocked late 80's cruise ship was missing from my life until I discovered it in Houston Texas!
I would expect to find this gem in Vegas, but here it was in the middle of Texas, in all that heat. I was semi bracing for a cream pie to the face around every corner (Nickelodeon 1990's-now if you ever go there you'll feel slight trepidation too).
The dark port hole windows covering the discussion rooms filled me with a never ending sense of conference-talk-roulette: would I be entering the right room or not? Last year I crashed my favorite presentation that way (sorry, not sorry, Dr. Silber). No such luck this year.
I've never been on a real cruise ship, but if it also happened to be a time machine to 1987, this is exactly what I would expect to find.
I like my cars boxy (I drive a Volvo) so when I say I appreciate how thoroughly they carried out this theme, I mean it. They truly spared no expense in fulfilling my experience. I had a high bar coming to Texas. Go big or go home. I get it now.
Houston is so weirdly special. I enjoyed visiting this giant 1980's cruise ship of a convention center surrounded by beautiful parks, art projects, and wonderful people.

Great place for a convention like the #nsppd7amprayer#conference. Lots of room for a big, great event like this one. But wished they had put a TV too for those in the middle row, like instead of 3rows of TV, could have been 4rows. In all, it was a great place to come for a convention! Safety maintained and environment clean.

We went to the bridal show there today. The place was nice. The booths were really nice. My daughter recently got engaged, so we are just getting started. We had a good time. We were expecting more taste samplings of cake and caters. There should be more than three stalls in a women's bathroom in a convention center.
