Absolutely customer oriented in every way. The checkin went timely and professionally. The dinner service and menu were very good. The breakfast buffet has diverse offerings, just missed grits. lol. But seriously, the buffet staff kept areas clean, well stocked, and very attentive. Will be back!

I stayed a week with two dogs (very pet friendly) and my wife. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, the fitness facility was nice and stocked with plenty of water and other essentials. Laundry being free was another huge plus. Free breakfast with lots of options. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and so did my furry kids and wife. I would 100% go back. I put a 4 star for service because two of our requests went unfulfilled (another comforter and our room being cleaned while we left with the dogs or over an hour) after the staff agreed to it. BUT aside from those two things, everything and I mean everything was perfect. This was one of my favorite stays by far, it actually started to feel like home. Before checking in, I stayed at a hotel that cost three times as much and I was not impressed with them. Here it was affordable AND exceeded my expectations. While I can go on, I'll wrap it up and say, go ahead and book! It'll be a great stay without breaking the bank. Plus, they have a dope chicken spot less than 5 minutes away. Okay, for real this time, I'm done - go book!

The only reason for giving this hotel 4 stars is because I reserved a king room for me and my husband and when we checked in, it was not mention to us that we would not get a king room. We get to the room and it's 2 beds. I didn't want 2 beds. I wanted one. I do actually like sleeping with my husband now, with that being said, the room was huge. The bed we shared, although NOT a King was comfortable. My husband did not like the temperature of the water in the shower. He did say that there was no way of having it cooler. It was just kind of hot the whole time, which it didn't bother me at all. The hotel itself is very nice. It is a little weird to park in a parking garage, go down to the bottom level, cross over and then go up to your room, but that's neither here nor there. We only needed to be there for one night. Would we stay here again, definitely! I would just double-check and make sure when we check in that I actually get the room that we reserved and paid for.

I am usually a loyal Hilton guest, and travel frequently for work, so I have high expectations when I travel. The full-size fridge was a big plus for me this time! My room was exceptionally clean, and even though they said the policy is an every other day freshen up, they were in there every day.

My only real negatives are that there was no dishwasher detergent for the in-room dishwasher, and the pillows were entirely too soft (that seems to be a recurring Hilton thing, though).

Dirty, moldy, musty smell in the suite and hallway. My floor had a slippery substance, I had sneakers on and still slid. This was a safety concern. I spent most of the time in the lobby or outside just not to breathe the awful smell. The Room was not properly clean, DIRTY coffee maker, (I couldn't make coffee) furniture not properly clean. This was NOT to my expectations. I will also post photos.

? 5-Star Review: An Amazing Stay!

My recent stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Houston was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the impeccable service and attention to detail.

Clean and Comfortable Room: The room was spotless and inviting. The well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a full-size refrigerator, dishes, and microwave, made our stay even more convenient.
Richard’s Outstanding Service: Richard, at the front desk, went above and beyond. He promptly arranged the shuttle service to MD Anderson, ensuring a hassle-free trip for us. His friendly demeanor and efficiency made a lasting impression.
Melinda’s Expertise: Melinda, who handled our reservations, deserves special mention. Her professionalism and warmth made the booking process seamless. She truly understands the art of exceptional customer service.
Overall, our stay was a delightful experience, and we’re eagerly anticipating our next visit. Home2 Suites by Hilton has earned our highest recommendation!

Based on my particular experience staying here, I don’t consider this a place to take your family. A lot of party people, management won’t do anything about them being obnoxious to everyone else. Breakfast experience was good based on the employees, food, and area. Two check in girls there are a huge waste of time to deal with, if you try to check in early with them. Just tell me you won’t have the room ready until 3, be upfront, so I don’t waste my time waiting on the lot outside with kids because we can’t get to the shaded parking lot without a room key. We could have gone and done something else with that time lost. All that time waiting on “housekeeping” for the room to not even be clean. This hotel is way too expensive for all this trouble.

Here is one of the most honest reviews you will read. First of all, this is a very nice looking facility and could have easily been 5 stars instead of 2. Let’s talk about the good parts first. Hotel is beautiful w lots of amenities like a gym, pool and dog walk area. Plus they have plenty of parking. The staff was super nice and helpful as well. Now for the reasons they earned 2 stars. While the amenities are great, the mattresses and pillows are horrendous! Possibly the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. Mattress was soft and worn and the pillows were small, cheap and offered no support. We woke up in pain every day due to these shortcomings. Also, our bed didn’t feel clean and welcoming. It felt gross and dirty on top of it being super cheap. This was a major part of why I deducted so many stars, as the bed(mattress and pillows) are kind of the most important part of a stay. To spend all of this money in nice amenities and then cheap out on the bedding is very short sighted. Next reason for points off was the dining room. Although beautiful and comfortable, the prices are ridiculous! I mean super ridiculous! After being at MD Anderson all day, my family were super happy to eat at the hotel and chill. We took a look at the menus and decided otherwise. Examples include $18 for a tomato soup, $14 for a kids peanut butter and jelly sandwich and $24 for a hamburger. You get the idea. For that kind of money we decided to eat at a nice restaurant, not the hotel lobby. This pricing was reflected in the fact that the dining room was virtually empty at dinner. I felt bad for the wait staff who live off of tips. Whoever’s idea for pricing like this missed the mark big time! If anyone from the hotel is reading this, I strongly suggest that you talk to the head of your housekeeping director and budget for better bedding. Also, get with whoever priced your dining menu and have them adjust it to more reasonable prices. I don’t mind paying more for a meal, but $18 for a tomato soup This is actually more than they charge for a lobster bisque at very nice restaurants. Firm these items up and you guys can easily be at 5 stars. Unfortunately, my family does not want to stay here again until you do. The beds were just that bad
