Schön renoviertes Hotel. Alle Zimmer mit Workout Ecke und super Gym 24 Std. offen. Empfang und Service waren sehr freundlich. Parkhaus gegen Gebühr gleich nebenan.||Metrostation nach Washington DC in nur ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar.

The breakfast was included and it was really good. The room was comfortable, at night was quiet, and had some things to exercise. All the employees were attentive and friendly. Uber access was easy and quick. The gym is well equipped. A metro station was a walking distance (2 blocks).

The hotel is located relatively close to Pike and Rose. The rooms are adequately sized and come with a refrigerator. There is a microwave downstairs and a bar area as well. In order to park, there's a daily surcharge and you get a pass to display on your dashboard for the duration of your stay.

I was not overly fond of the hotel for the following reasons:
- From time to time, there's this sickly perfume or fragrance that comes through the door, and it's suffocating. I don't know if it's housekeeping that sprays it or if it's perfume from other guests. If you're sensitive to fragrances, it's a real nuisance.
- The hotel room, when I got here, was kind of dirty. There's definitely a lot of dust that goes uncleaned, which tells me that the cleaning staff are not the most thorough.
- The sheets have stains and have holes in them. I think the stains are caked in by this point, but it's kind of hard to know if these sheets are getting cleaned properly to begin with.
- I think the walls are pretty thin but that's just me.
- The hotel is pretty old in build and the water machines on the 4th and 6th floors do not work.

Update: You do not get nearly enough towels. It's kind of a weird thing. And the microwave not being in the actual room - I have since learned that none of the rooms have microwaves. Breakfast is an extra charge and I have been told by other guests that it is not worth it. BYO Food.

Don't stay here until they're done with their renovations. It is non-stop jackhammering, and I mean non-stop, from 9am until 6 pm every day. After they're done, stay here. My room was nice, the place was clean, and the staff were pleasant. The location is great and 100 bucks a night cannot be beat.

A very deceiving hotel. One they charge you $20 a day to park not advertising third party website they do not tell you that the hotel. That's not clearly advertised at check-in it's not clearly advertising their website. Two a charge another $10 a day off top of your $50 deposit that you give you at check in just be up front and tell us all the charges and explaining at the front desk I'll check in I'll try to sneak it in on the back end .Staff was nice enough. Rooms are nice . Very odd hotel. Refrigerators and a Keurig but no microwave. Parking stinks if you're carrying a trailer with you this is not the place to stay. Sheriff's parking with apartment complex in a shopping center. With no designated hotel parking. Other than that it's an all right place at best. No microwaving no parking. Extra hidden charges. Christy up front honest with people at check-in that's all people want.

My recent experience with Even hotel makes my blood boil. My 19-year-old niece was traveling from Florida to DC independently, and after calling various hotels, I was reassured by reservations multiple times that an accommodation would be made to allow her to check in despite the hotel’s policy on minimum check-in age.
After arriving to the Capitol shortly before sunset and traveling to the hotel, she called me from the lobby to tell me that concierge would not let her check in, leaving my niece, who may be a young woman but is still very much a child without lodging.
I contacted reservations once again—which is a call center—and was told that she would not be able to check in. My phone call was escalated to Guest Relations without resolution. I was on the phone for over an hour. I asked that the recording from my first call be reviewed, which the representatives made clear would not occur. I even asked to speak to concierge, which isn’t possible.
Meanwhile, my niece is texting me every few minutes on the verge of a panic attack from being in a city across the country alone without a hotel room.
The reservations call center is very clearly employed by representatives who aren’t given proper training on policies and who will say anything they want to a guest without repercussions.
I will never stay at an IHG hotel in the future because of the trauma this experience has created for my niece. The sheer lack of empathy, adequacy, and helpfulness of the call center staff is clear as day.
IHG may claim to represent “true hospitality,” but based on my recent experience, the chain doesn’t begin to understand or reflect this.

Room was decent with comfy bed, with powerful airconditioning adjustable. My room had a walk-in shower. Prices cant be beat with proximity to Red Metro line and supermarket across the street. Lots of dining options nearby. Wifi worked great but In-room entertainment, was lacking. Couldnt watch any program, news or live sports TV as hotel has very limited TV options. No NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, CNN, etc despite Direct TV.
