Das Hotel liegt direkt am John Wayne Airport und ist überwiegend renoviert. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Schöne, nicht übermäßig große Zimmer mit kompletter Verglasung und entsprechend schönem Blick zumindest aus dem oberen Etagen, bequemen Matratzen, riesigem Flachbildschirm, Kühlschrank, Safe, Bügelbrett. Insgesamt geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Sehr zügiges valet parking, leider 36 $ pro Tag. Wir hatten Zugang zum M Club, der sich auf dem Lobby Level befindet und wo es kostenloses Frühstück vom Buffet sowie abends Kleinigkeiten (allerdings durchaus zum satt werden, wenn man nicht zu anspruchsvoll ist) und Desserts gibt. Softdrinks ganztägig kostenfrei. Ein Manko, was zum Punktabzug geführt hat, war der Umstand, dass alkoholische Getränke, auch Bier und Wein im M club immer kostenpflichtig sind, was im Vergleich zu anderen Lounges ein echter Nachteil ist ( Bier 8 $)... zwar sind die Lounges im Ritz-Carlton oder Grand Hyatt sicherlich vom Hotel-Niveau höher anzusiedeln, aber auch im vergleichbaren Renaissance Hotel gab es Wein, Bier und ausgesuchte Spirituosen kostenfrei... auch von der Ausstattung fällt die Lounge insgesamt ein kleines bisschen ab, auch wenn sie recht neu ist.||Aufpassen beim buchen: da das Irvine Marriott im ein Business-Hotel ist, ist es unter der Woche teilweise um ein Vielfaches (zeitweise zwei bis dreimal) teurer als am Wochenende... echte Schnäppchen sind über Thanksgiving möglich. Wir haben in der Woche mit Lounge Zugang etwa 250 $ inklusive Steuern und Gebühren pro Nacht bezahlt.

Ein wirklich klasse Hotel, zu einem top Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis. Durchweg empfehlenswert für jeden Reisenden-/ und Urlauber moderner Einrichtungs-/ Haustechnikstand zu Ihrem Komfort in einer zentralen Lage gegenüber dem Flugfeld, mit ausreichend Parkraum zzgl. $36/Tag.||||Der check-in und check-out ging schnell und reibungslos von statten. Top Service und Freundlichkeit bei den Mitarbeitern am Frontdesk, diese arbeiten sehr professionell und sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. So wie man es als Gast auch entsprechend erwartet was den Dienstleistungsbereich Service angeht.||||Leider waren unsere Matratzen etwas durchgelegen. Diese sollten dann doch einmal gegen moderne Viscoschaum Matratzen ausgetasucht werden.||||TOP - besser geht es nicht - modern zeitlos – neuwertig und eben nicht abgewohnt Ausstattung, teilweise besonders große Flure und ausgesprochen helle Zimmer.||||Fazit – sehr empfehlenswert

Another great time at Irvine Marriott. Stephanie was a delight when checking in. Answered all my questions. Wished me a Happy Birthday and thanked me for my status. We have had so many exceptional experiences at this hotel. Mr. George Assaf - Director of operations never fails to make me feel special. We loved our room along with birthday treats. Enjoyed relaxing around the pool for a few hours and had a delicious dinner of fish (Halibut) and chips in the restaurant. The staff in the M lounge were very efficient and pleasant. This is a very well run hotel.

I recently spent a night at the Irvine Marriott for business. I was impressed with the fantastic service from all employees that I interacted with. I'd also like to personally compliment Mikki (?) who worked the front desk. She was personable, engaged and a pleasure to meet. When she stepped out from behind the counter to give me the room key, it showed me that she and the hotel wanted to treat me as a family member/friend and not just a customer. The room was lovely and "smart". The pool looked lovely on the warm day but I didn't have a chance to use it. The fitness center was clean with all of the necessary equipment. All in all, it was a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel close to the airport. And, there was a free airport shuttle!! See you again soon, Irvine Marriott.

I was delighted to be checked in by Danielle, the new front desk worker. She was incredibly professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. As a new front desk worker, she exceeded my expectations. I must also extend a big thanks to the bar attendants and Vanessa, who provided exceptional customer service that went above and beyond. I thoroughly enjoyed both the room and the drinks! I highly recommend this property and am eagerly looking forward to returning.

Small, nice renovated room still had the smell and feel of oldness near the elevators. The M lounge was very nice with excellent food choices for breakfast and evening. The morning front desk clerk (young white female was very controlling/telling you where to stand). The self parking lot was safe and clean which costs $42 per night.

First of all, I must say this property seems like a nice place for both business travelers and families. However, my initial stay at this property was disappointing. Upon entering what was supposed to be an Executive room, my wife and I instantly felt motion sickness or lightheadedness. Additionally, both the floor and the bed in the room were uneven, with the bed being slightly tilted. I contacted the front desk that night to cancel our second night. Initially, they wanted to charge us for early checkout, but another staff member later agreed to waive the fee. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I would not return. We were supposed to stay for two nights, but I had to cancel and moved to the AC Hotel Irvine, just five minutes away, the following day. The AC Hotel was 100% better and greatly improved our trip to Irvine.
