Kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but this was a very nice new venue. Not a huge place, any seat would be good. We attended a concert and the sound was good, we sat in 210 straight back from the stage. Free parking was also a nice perk, and it didn't look like anything was very far from the building, and exit was fairly easy. As this is the closest venue to where we live, we will most likely attend other events here.

The Events Center in rio rancho is a medium size arena , perfect for music events like: touring ice shows and various musical groups who prefer the size of an audience found in a proscenium theater.

However, the reason for 4 is simply because
The events center is many times promoted as an Albuquerque venue......but is quite a distance from Albuquerque.

I miss the days of seeing (or working) a rock show at Tingley at the fair grounds-- which is about the same size venue..

Shows in actual Albuquerque can also be accessed by those that do not have cars.

In closing: The actual Events Center is a class act--and it's workers are stellar

Saw theory of a Deadman skillet and Saint Asonia here and the staff was great and I felt safe the whole time plus everyone enjoyed it great sound and atmosphere if I could rate 10 stars I would

I am commenting my experience at the Rio Rancho Events Center.
On October 5, 2024. My sister, whom I take of is special needs and in a wheelchair. She is also a great fan of Micky mouse. So I got tickets to see Disney on ice. This is the first time I have ever attended any venue here.
I can not express enough how wonderful the staff is there. Since my sister is in a wheelchair, we were taken out of the line to a separate door to be scanned for any illegal metal. We were one of the first patrons to be inside. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and concerned for my sisters well being. Even though we were not VIPs, I felt we were treated as such. From the entrance to when we left the venue, the staff went above and beyond.
My sister and I really enjoyed the show and the experience.

Had come here for motionless in white concert we even sprung for the vip… black veil brides were amazing as well!!! Even Atreyu and Ice nine kills!!! Loved the seating me and my wife had a great time
