This was such an amazing experience! Lived in the Springs for years and had no idea this hidden gem was here hiding about in Garden of the Gods. We did afternoon tea and then a tour.

Tea was just fantastic, great value to us for the experience but I think others might find it expensive (but this isn't an everyday cafe!!!). It was a set food menu and you had about 15 blends of tea to choose from in addition to the usual ones (earl grey, green, lady grey, etc). Our hostess Katie was just damn fabulous ? and quite attentive! Food was delicious and we took what we couldn't finish home, it was quite filling but not heavy foods.

The tour was great as well. Our guide Joy was extremely knowledgeable of the property and it's varied history. She was fabulous and put up with us even though we started the tour 3min late (one of our party got lost in the castle). The castle is just fabulous, gives more history into General Palmer and why you see him everywhere in this city. Also saw lots of Big Horn Sheep and wild turkeys....never seen this many sheep in one place in the Springs.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

What a gem of a place. A real magical ambiance to the place, big horn sheep roaming around next to the wild turkeys .. breakfast was an excellent complimentary add on. Views and trails are amazing. But biggest shout out to Bob and Staci, really friendly and helpful and made our stay even more memorable. Thanks again.

Sent my parents here for a little getaway, they loved it! I booked the Pink House, which apparently only has 3 suites in it. The room was wonderful and the house itself is beautifully appointed and filled with antiques. Parents also said the breakfast was excellent and there was so much wildlife roaming the grounds. Do note that young children cannot stay in the Pink House (not sure about the castle)

We visited Glen Eyrie Castle for a Sunday afternoon tea. It was a great experience. The tea was really good, and most of the food was good, a few items that weren't really to my taste but others at our party enjoyed them. The service is excellent and venue is pretty special. It was a little pricey but still a wonderful experience

I want to add to all the glowing reviews of staying at the Glen Eyrie Castle. This was our second stay, and I hope there will be many more. The castle and grounds are spectacular, and there are several excellent trails around the beautiful rock formations. The staff and the volunteers are all extraordinarily kind, helpful, and pleasant, and the buffet breakfast is a delicious feast. Beyond just the physical beauty of the castle and the grounds, visitors can't help but be awed by the serenity and spirit of the place, and the feeling of good fortune to be there and to commune with such wonderful people, both staff and visitors. What a superb treat this special place and its people are!

This place is a slice of heaven on earth! My wife and I went here for a little anniversary getaway for 2 days and it was the most peaceful place we have ever been. We will be coming back with our young kids to enjoy this beautiful place as well!
We found the rocks at Glen Eyrie more enjoyable than the ones at the Garden of the Gods. Some great paths to hike and walk as well.
Amazing place and the people/staff exude peace and love while making your stay great!

This was probably one of the great highlights of our vacation to Colorado Springs. Our room was perfect. The castle and grounds are so peaceful. What a blessing to be able to spend a much needed night away with my partner in such stunning surroundings.

We had an amazing time visiting Glen Eyrie Castle! We stayed in the Big Horn Lodge and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the castle. We absolutely loved the grounds! The location is stunning. There are many walking trails and animals on the grounds, we saw deer, a bunny, big horn sheep and turkeys. We also loved that they had a coffee shop. We definitely look forward to visiting again in the future!
